Looking back on the last few years, I have done a lot of sewing, knitting and miscellaneous other things. Mainly wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses (for others), jerseys and jackets (for myself) and some gifts for people - embroidery wise. I have decided last year that I have had enough of bridesmaids, due to some really nasty experiences, and will concentrate more on wedding dresses. I did three last year, with the last one completed on Wednesday. Oh, my! My last entry was in November. Since then two holidays have cme and gone. An epic road trip with my cousin and lots of work at the beginning of the year. Sewing was for Milla's wedding, Holly's dance and Ginnio's samples. Other things that happened were teaching, marking, writing thesis, compiling a curriculum for a Higher Certificate in Fashion, submitting annual report to the Department of Higher Education and Training, celebrating my 40th birthday (yes, indeed) and visiting lots and lots of freinds. You may ask, did I get some sleep? Yes, lots of it.

I have been knitting away.... see may gallery I also am busy (finally) finishing off two quilts - pics to follow. I did choose an intricate patter for the first try, but it worked out so far. I need to add the backing, do the actual quilting and then finish off the edges. Let's hope I get it done for the Christmas prezzies they are supposed to be. On top of everything else, I passed my Research Design module YAY, but ow it means I have to do the actual research..... hmmmm. Other than that, work is picking up and we will have an end of year party at Casa Blanca (Cape Town) on the 16th, fashion Show on the 24th and slowly then winding down t
